4.0 Optical Properties & Visibility System
- Daytime Visibility: Body colour is Fluorescent Red (CIE Chromaticity Coordinates within x: 0.665-0.721, y: 0.335-0.279). Fluorescence amplifies light absorption and emission for superior conspicuity in daylight and low-light conditions (dawn/dusk).
- Night-time Visibility: Features two (2) circumferential bands of engineered prismatic reflective sheeting.
- Width per Band: 50 mm
- Placement: One band positioned 150mm from apex, a second 100mm above the base shoulder.
- Performance: Meets requirements for High-Intensity retroreflection, ensuring clear visibility at long distances under vehicle headlights.
5.0 Stability Analysis
The stability is engineered through mass and geometry:
